Ultimate team names is an upcoming feature in FIFA 18 where players can create their own teams of five (5) people for each round of matches. Unlike traditional Ultimate Team modes, you don’t need to buy packs of cards in order to build your squad for every game.
You’re free to create your own mix of strikers, defenders, midfielders, and goalkeepers that will work together in an attempt to earn victories. So far, Ultimate Team names has only been released for PC users and is expected to hit Xbox One and PlayStation 4 later this year.
Since there is no official support for Ultimate Team names in EA Sports games, you can expect many gamers to experiment with different combinations of player names to see which combination works best. We have compiled our top five tips to help you choose the best team names.
1. Start by asking yourself questions
Start by doing a little research into the history of the sport and its related terminology. Then ask yourself what might work well for you. Do you want something that sounds professional or casual? 3. Choose nicknames
Nicknames are a fantastic way to let fans know exactly which team they follow without having to memorize a whole new name. Some teams even include their nickname in the name itself.
4. Avoid long names
Long names are hard to read in big stadiums. Unless you plan on playing in small venues, consider using shorter names to avoid confusion.
5. Use numbers to separate letters
People will naturally read things in order. If you are using multiple words in your team name, try adding numbers to each letter. This makes it easier for people to understand when reading the name.
